Memorial Benches

A Wonderful Way To Memorialize Our Children....

Our chapter has installed two memorial benches at the Maitland Art Center on their beautiful grounds.  The Art Center is located at 231 Packwood off of 17-92 turning at the Winn Dixie in Maitland.  We have recently held the dedication for the second bench.  We also have four benches at the Central Winds Park in Winter Springs and are ready to plan two more;  another for the Art Center and one on lake Toho on the St. Cloud side of the park.

Each bench is made of marble/granite and is approximately five feet long.  Each will have 18 names on it with the birth and death dates of our children.

Many families have appreciated the benches in the Central Winds Park and Maitland.  There have been gatherings of the Orlando Chapter at both sites including dedication ceremonies and, most recently, the Memorial Day picnic.

We are pleased to offer this gratifying opportunity to other parents.  The nominal contribution for having a child's name etched on the bench is $100.00.  We hope that you will contribute to the memorial benches and display your child's name in a lovely, meditative place.
